Hello, I'm DEE Reiter.

Candidate for White Rock School Trustee
Education is my passion.
I've devoted my entire 40 year career to the students and families of the Surrey School District, first as a teacher, and later as a vice-principal and principal.
Along the way I've advocated for students and families while supporting staff, working to create the best possible environment for success.
And now I'm ready to bring that passion and experience to a new role as your White Rock school trustee.
You might say I've seen this district through several lenses.
I was born in Surrey and attended school there, graduating from North Surrey Senior Secondary before attending Simon Fraser University.
I have also been a parent here. My two now-adult children attended schools in North and South Surrey, graduating from Elgin Park Secondary before pursuing post-secondary education. And now my daughter is following in the family tradition and teaches in Surrey.
My husband Dan and I have lived in White Rock for 20 years and are fortunate to be Nana and Papa to a beautiful granddaughter. We share our home with our English Bulldog.
I'm looking forward to continue advocating for students and families as your White Rock School Trustee.

Have We Met Before?
Over 40 years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of working with countless students, parents, teachers, administrators, school board executives and trustees across White Rock, South Surrey and Surrey. My commitment to our community started in our local classrooms and hallways. If your children attended any of these schools we might already know each other. I would love to reconnect!
